Happy Birthday Sakura: Part 3

“ Naruto”
“Yeah?”
“ If the reservations are for dinner, then what are we supposed to do now?”
“ You should know by now. Anything you want to do. But I actually had something else planned.” I was confused.

Naruto was walking to the door and his hand was on the door knob.
“What kind of party would it be if there weren’t any guests invited!?”

He opened the door. Kiba, Hinata, Shino, Ino, Shikamaru, and Chouji came inside and brought all kinds of presents. Behind Kiba was Akamaru. I thought to myself, I guess Naruto invited them so I would have a real party.

“ Yo Sakura! Happy Birthday!” Akamaru barked twice.
“ Thanks Kiba and Akamaru.”
“ Umm, Happy Birthday Sakura.”
“ Thanks Hinata.”
“ Happy Birthday.”
“ Uhh, thanks Shino.”
“ Hey Sakura! Happy Birthday! I haven’t seen you in a while.”
“ Hi Ino! And thanks!”
“ This is such a drag, but Ino forced me to come. Whatever, Happy Birthday.”
“ Well, thanks for coming anyway Shikamaru.”
“ Happy Birthday Sakura. Do you have any good snacks?”
“ Thanks. And I guess you should ask that to Naruto since he planned out everything for my birthday.”
“ Yeah well the thing is, uhh I still need to get things ready.”
“ What? You still need to get everything ready!?  Then why’d you want us to come early? This‘ll take a while, right Akamaru?” Akamaru barked.
“ Just let me take care of a few things. While you’re all waiting, you can give the presents to Sakura so she could open it.”

Everyone was fine with it. First was Kiba’s present. The wrapping was red and wasn’t that special. I opened it carefully no to ruin the blue bow on it. He gave me a pink flower-shaped clock.

“ So you could keep track of time when you’re with Naruto.”
“ Very funny.” I grinned.

Next was Hinata’s present. The wrapping was solid pink with a small red bow.  Inside was a silver necklace with a large emerald stone attached to it.

“ I thought you might like it.”
“ Oh but I do. It’s beautiful! Thank you so much Hinata!”

Shino’s gift was really small. There was no wrapping. It was just a small white box tied with a red ribbon. I opened it and found a silver pendant shaped as a beetle.

“ It was hard to capture this specimen.”
“ It’s real!?”
“ No, that was a figure of speech. I had to go to numerous shops just to find that.”

Ino’s gift was in a small velvet bag. At the opening of the bag was a cherry blossom flower.
“ Funny” I teased.
“ Just open it to see the real present.”
I opened the bag to find 2 silver dog tags. It had a picture of me and Naruto. On the other side, it said Together, Forever
“ This is so sweet. Thanks Ino!”
“ No problem. It’s for the both of you. I’ve been saving my money for this.” She smiled so I smiled back.

Shikamaru’s gift was actually shocking. It was a silver bracelet with a few small diamonds on it.

“ It was Ino’s idea. She said it would go with your dog tag. I only paid.”
“ Thanks anyway.”

Last but not least, Chouji’s gift to me. It wasn’t very surprising. It was a whole bunch of grocery coupons.

“ Uhh, thanks. This could really help me for grocery shopping.”
“ I didn’t know what else I could get for you.”

“Thanks everyone! For the great presents!”

Naruto finally gets back from finishing up the place.
“Sorry, for keeping you all waiting. The party’s in the living room! Everything’s all set up.”
“ Not to worry. I finished opening all the presents.”
“Oh okay then. Now the real party begins!!”
